This course will uncover my secrets of how to easily digitize your watercolor paintings so you can transform them into profitable products. I will be sharing my step-by-step process of how I digitize my watercolor paintings, as well as share the exact tools and software that I use so you can feel confident and quickly get on your way to digitizing your watercolor paintings, drawings, and more! There is a method for digitizing that I love to use with watercolor paintings that I have not seen shared before, so I can't wait to share it with you inside of this course.

What is Digitizing?

First, I want to overview what “digitizing” means. Digitizing is a process of taking a hand painted or hand drawn piece of art and getting it into a computer, likely to be saved as a PNG, JPG, PDF, PSD or EPS file (more on file types later!). Many times digitizing artwork requires removing the white paper background. This helps your products to print and look professional. This is what I will show you how to do in this course!

My Story

I graduated with a bachelors degree in Graphic Design, so my journey with digitizing began quite a few years ago with formal training, but through the years I have learned new techniques as the technology has grown. Digitizing artwork is one of the biggest foundations of my business. Everyday I am turning my hand painted artwork into wedding invitations, products such as prints, cards, mugs, tea towels, patterns, maps, custom cocktail signs, custom crests and so much more. I absolutely love intertwining traditional hand painted mediums with digital. It has allowed me to grow my business to a full time income and has opened up an infinite amount of possibilities.
