What is digitizing?
It is simply the process of getting your hand painted or hand drawn artwork into the computer in order to print it onto products or use it digitally on the web. Many times it requires removing the white paper background.
Do I need Photoshop?
I highly recommend having Adobe Photoshop for digitizing. That is the program I will use and teach inside of this course. I do include a bonus module that shares how you can get started digitizing your watercolor artwork without Photoshop.
What tools and equipment do I need?
The three most essential tech tools you will need are a scanner, computer and Adobe Photoshop software. I will also share additional tech tools that I use but are not necessary.
How long do I get access to this class?

Who is this class designed for?

The best part about this course is that you don't need to be a Photoshop expert! Having just a basic understanding of Photoshop is all you need to feel comfortable diving in.
Do you cover how to create products within this course?
While I show one example of how to design a signature cocktail sign within this mini course, it mostly focusses on teaching the process of how to digitize your artwork from scanning to cutting out your artwork in Photoshop so you can go on to create a wide array of products that suit your business needs.
Is this course best suited for art business owners?
This course was created to help watercolor artists learn how to digitize their paintings so they can create products to sell. But this mini course would also be valuable for those who aren't running a business and are looking to create custom party supplies for their next big event!
